The Continuous Improvement Process

Many organizations tend to operate with a traditional management style. This is a top down style where information flows from top to bottom. This management style becomes problematic because it can lead to “one dimensional” management, inefficient use of organizational resources, and overall poor performance.

Ernest's Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) effectively opens the lines of communication and gets employees involved in building and strengthening the organization. One of the roadblocks to getting employees to open up is fear. Fear of stepping on toes, retaliation, and even ridicule keeps employees from giving their best. CIP helps to remove this and other roadblocks to organizational success.

Benefits of CIP

  • Enhances communication by providing a safe environment where employees can be open and honest about the organization and its needs.

  • Involves employees in creating improvements in the organization that builds commitment and loyalty.

  • Identifies roadblocks to performance before they grow and become more serious.

  • Provides more and better solutions to solve true workplace problems.

How CIP Works

  • Monthly management team meetings

  • Monthly employee team meetings consisting of employee representatives from each department (number depending on the size of the organization)

  • Together we identify problems and opportunities

  • We prioritize the issues and evaluate our resources

  • We create task forces to develop Action Plans and Implement

  • On a regular basis we follow-up and record progress

  • Along the way we educate, moderate, and keep the process Energized and Active!

CIP helps to Create a Better WorkPlace while instilling and internalizing the, knowledge, systems, and tools that allow the organization to grow and prosper.

Bringing the Organization to Prime

A Culture of Mutual Trust and Mutual Respect

An organization in Prime is one that has a balance between Control and Creativity. These two elements normally conflict leaving organizations with either too much control and bureaucracy or too much creativity and chaos. Through CIP, management can create a place where employees want to work, customers are delighted, profits are increasing, and the competition is scrambling to keep up.
